Job Vacancy: Social Welfare Law Caseworker (Cancer support)

Salary: £23,007 - £24,547 (dependent on experience)

Hours: 35 hours per weekLocation: Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Community Cancer Service.

Contract: fixed until April 2021

This new post has arisen out of our partnership with Heywood, Middleton and Rochdale Community Cancer Service and looks at providing a welfare benefit casework service to people affected by cancer.

You will be based with a small team of specialist Health Care professionals in Rochdale but will also be part of a motivated and supportive team of specialist benefit caseworkers across Citizens Advice Pennine West region.

The successful applicant would need to have recent and relevant experience inproviding welfare benefits advice work and a good knowledge of the benefits system, especially in the areas of sickness and disability.
